To share our eBooks on LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms that do not allow you to upload a PDF directly, you'll need to host the PDF online and share the URL.
If you use our Social Media Automation tools we have built in file hosting, but for everyone who has not signed up for one of our Social Media Automation plans, I want to share an alternate solution using LinkedIn's Slideshare.
Slideshare is a part of the LinkedIn platform and you can login with your LinkedIn or Facebook credentials, or create a Slideshare account.
Go ahead and click on one of the eBooks on our site that you would like to share and download the file to your computer.
Head over to www.slideshare.net, sign in, and click the orange Upload button in the upper right of the screen.
Next you can drag and drop the file into the window or click Select files to upload.
Once your file is uploaded you will have the option to change the Title and you will need to add a brief description. We recommend you copy and paste the first paragraph or 2-3 sentences of the eBook in the description field.
Choose the appropriate Category and set the Privacy to Public and click Publish.
To get the URL for the eBook, you will click Share under the document preview.
Copy and paste the URL in the Link box and share across social media or in emails with your clients and prospects.
